Participate in a Groundbreaking Project

The Common Lives Project seeks talented artists to collaborate on a unique initiative. As a participant, you will wear a head-mounted camera to record your daily activities for 5 days within a 2-week window.

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily activities for 7 hours, taking breaks and pausing the camera for privacy.
  • Upload footage to a secure platform, review clips, and choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.

Requirements:

  • No children present during recording.
  • All adults must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
  • A private, self-contained apartment or indoor work environment is required.
  • Household members must agree to appear in footage.

Technical Requirements:

  • A computer and internet access are necessary.
  • Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips.
  • A GoPro camera and accessories will be provided by the project.
