This Senior Field Service Specialist position is responsible for providing service and support of Pall’s existing local, regional, national and Canadian customer base in the beer, wine, and spirits industry. This role supports troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of Pall Corporation equipment at customer sites. The Senior Field Service Specialist is also responsible for sales growth, service growth and customer fulfillment. The role reports to the Services Americas manager and is part of the Americas Global Service Team and will be remote.

Responsibilities
  • Service and test systems hardware including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, mainly within the food and beverage industry.
  • Troubleshoot, upgrade, and update PLC and HMI software independently
  • Issue service reports and/or commissioning reports
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent plus 5+ years of prior field service experience in related field or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior field service experience.
  • Experience with Automation/PLC instruments, including adjustments and uploading new PLC software
  • Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
Travel, Driver & Physical Requirements
  • Up to 85% flying and/or driving travel, including significant overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs; ability to stand, walk, sit, squat and kneel, ascend/descend stairs; reach with hands and arms
Desirable Additional Experience
  • Systems with mechanical, electrical, and instrument components such as valves, pumps, transmitters, and actuators
  • SAP experience
