KittySpout is looking for a Direct Response Copywriter to join our team As our copywriter, you will be responsible for the scripting, planning, and managing of multiple creative projects with a big focus on UGC ads and psychology-based creatives to be used across paid marketing channels.
We are looking to hire someone with 4+ years of work experience. The ideal candidate has prior experience in creating paid advertisements specifically for Meta Platforms, UGC, direct response marketing & bonus points if experience with writing copy for landing pages.

KittySpout has helped over 600,000+ cat owners in just 4 years since launching with a small (but mighty) core team of under 20 people and we are looking to continue our growth by finding a great copywriter to help play a pivotal role in helping us scale

Key Objectives:
- Manage the full creative process of your ad briefs (from scripting all the way to final creative) in order to produce high converting creatives on an ongoing basis.
- Write high converting copy for listicles, advertorials, quiz funnels & more
- Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics across digital channels with improved creatives.
- Script UGC Direct response creatives
- Use data from creative performance on Meta to dissect, analyze and improve upon our creatives to continuously improve performance across our creatives.
- Work with our marketing team to come up with new creative concepts and ideas.
- Conduct strategic customer and competitor research to better optimize creative efforts
- Improve current & future copy through your direct response marketing talent
- Decide on the next steps needed to scale Meta Ads further through better creative
Requirements:
- Fully remote
- Fluent in English
- Direct Response Expertise : 4+ Years Experience with performance creative for DTC brands or working at a creative agency is a must.
- Tools & Metrics: Proficiency in performance analytics tools such as Triple Whale, Motion, pitch decks, and spreadsheets to present ideas and campaign outcomes effectively.
- UGC Experience: Lots of experience with creating briefs for UGC creators to produce high converting content across paid channels.
- TOF Ad Copy : Lots of experience with creating copy/briefs for 1min-2min educational spokespeople ads .
- Creative & Analytical Mindset: Ability to generate fresh ideas, write scripts, shot listing, and make data-driven decisions based on ad performance.
- No issue working overtime or on the weekends if needed. You wouldn't know what to do with your free time if you were working less . You are passionate about your work.

Accountabilities
- Write 15-25+ high-converting ad scripts per week for Meta Platforms
- Weekly Iterations on top performing ads to improve performance
- Analyze performance metrics to derive actionable insights for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure ads are visually compelling and on-brand.
- Adapt ad strategies to capitalize on emerging internet trends and consumer behaviors.
- Present performance analyses and creative strategies to the marketing team
- Continuously refine ad concepts and troubleshoot underperforming campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
- Iterate on winning ads to create more winning assets to produce a better ROI.
How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate:
- When hiring, we'll work with you to define the KPIs you'll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you're doing a good job after you start.
- Initial soft interview, then a technical interview + test project with the current head of marketing, and a final interview to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~8 - 12 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.

Salary Expectation
USD $36,000 USD to $70,000 USD per year + Performance Bonus Structure based on experience and expertise.
