We’re looking for a Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Specialist to be a guardian of well‑being across our Americas offices. In this role, you’ll be a crucial part of our global team, ensuring our people and our business are protected and resilient. What You’ll Be Doing Be the HSS Authority: Act as the go‑to expert for Health, Safety, and Security in our Americas offices, creating and implementing programs that exceed local regulations and embed safety into our culture. Innovate and Implement: Build and manage proactive programs that reduce risks, prevent incidents, and promote a healthy workplace; conduct risk assessments and support office expansions. Protect and Respond: Serve as a core member of the Workplace Incident Management Team, responding to crises and emergencies and providing specialized support to keep colleagues safe. Collaborate and Educate: Work closely with managers and teams across the region, deliver training and technical expertise, maintain on‑site fire marshal and first‑aid programs, and partner with global HSS leaders to shape and implement policies worldwide. Grow Our Impact: Track HSS performance, contribute to sustainability and ESG initiatives, and strengthen our commitment to a responsible and sustainable future. Qualifications HSS Expertise: Registered and certified Occupational Safety Technician with at least five years of experience in an HSS role across multiple international locations; registered with SIRPWEB system meeting NR‑4 requirements. Global Mindset: Strong working knowledge of HSS laws and regulations across the Americas; comfortable with regular domestic and international travel, including short notice. Crisis Experience: Hands‑on experience in crisis and emergency management, able to provide calm, effective support in high‑pressure situations. Proactive and Self‑Starting: Natural problem‑solver who takes initiative and doesn’t need direction. Excellent Communicator: Fluent in English and Portuguese, able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences. Bonus Points If You Have Professional certifications in Occupational Safety, Health, or Security. First Aid certification. Knowledge of international HSS standards. Workplace operational experience.
