This Position reports to:
Sales Support Manager
Position Mission:
Act as a technical reference for the sales team and clients, supporting the definition of technically suitable and commercially viable solutions for projects focused on electric motors, with a strong presence in the Oil & Gas sector. The goal is to ensure the quality of proposals, alignment with technical requirements, and the strengthening of ABB Motion Brazil's commercial presence.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team and customers in defining the most appropriate and cost-effective technical solutions based on received specifications.
- Prepare technical descriptions, perform sizing analyses and calculations, and contribute to the development of commercial proposals.
- Serve as a technical resource in client meetings, product presentations, and during clarification phases of bidding processes.
- Provide market and competitor insights to support strategic pricing and technical positioning decisions.
- Occasionally participate in field technical visits (approximately 10% of the time) to gather requirements and validate applications.
- Identify and communicate technical and commercial risks associated with proposals, collaborating with internal teams to support strategic decisions and mitigate exposure during the sales process.
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid experience in technical support for sales, inside sales, or bidding processes.
- Strong technical knowledge of electric motors.
- Advanced English, with fluent verbal communication for interaction with international teams and clients.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector, especially with Petrobras-related projects.
- Familiarity with indirect sales channels and equipment manufacturers in the segment.
- Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
- Participation in strategic projects with major industrial clients.
