The Software Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales and business growth of Varian software products across indirect markets in South America, including countries where Varian operates through distributor partnerships. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing distributor relationships, supporting partners in closing deals, and ensuring alignment with Varian’s business objectives and compliance standards. Sales & Business Development Develop and execute strategic software sales plans in collaboration with distributors. Drive revenue growth and market share for Varian software solutions in assigned territories. Identify new business opportunities and support distributors in the full sales cycle: prospecting, demonstrations, proposals, and closing. Distributor Enablement & Management Train and support distributors to effectively sell and position Varian software solutions. Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with distribution partners. Ensure alignment between Varian’s corporate strategy and local distributor execution. Customer Engagement & Support Participate in key customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations alongside distributors. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, oncology centers, and healthcare administrators. Forecasting & Reporting Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility for the region. Track, analyze, and report on KPIs and market trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, clinical, and technical teams to support product positioning and post-sales success. Coordinate with regulatory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all activities follow local and international standards.
