**The challenge**:
The Head of Trusted Data will work as part of our Global Data Team, supporting all Ze Company countries, leading a group of Analytics Managers and Data Scientists located across different countries, owning the best source of truth to be used in thecompany. The role leads the team working with all our online and offline data assets (from Marketing to Operations and KPIs), and is responsible for their continuous improvement, ensuring data quality, MDM across assets, standardization, and any required techniques to be applied to offer a ‘trusted’ view of data to our organization.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Lead the team responsible for the main Data Marts utilized in the organization;
- Establish a trust relationship, with reliable data assets, with the different areas of the companies;
- Mentor, design, and enhance dimensional models used in the Data Warehouse utilized by both the Data Team and the more data literate Stakeholders;
- Discuss business requirements and use them to create robust data models to support their analytical and business needs;
Ensure data quality in the assets accessible by the organization;
- Lead data security initiatives, focusing on business continuity, customer data protection and ethics and compliance.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Proven experience working with Analytics, eCommerce Marketing and Consumer Analytics, and Retail;
- Strong background in conceptual and logical data modelling, and good understanding of data sciences solutions;
- Excellent analytic, quantitative and problem solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights that drive decisions and return on investment;
- Experience with analytics projects;
- Experience with managing a team of 5+ people;
- Strong skills in querying with SQL;
- Clear understanding of modern data stores architectures and concept of structured and unstructured data types;
- Project management experience, with emphasis in Agile;
- Results orientated, curious, attention to detail, and a strong collaborator;
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills. We expect our team members to learn quickly and handle a number of challenges, wherever they are needed within the company;
- Ability to build working relationships (globally) and strong stakeholder management skills;
- Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects;
- Great visual, oral, and written communication skills;
- Interest in our industry and its evolution. This includes someone who is interested in solving new customer problems, the development of processes and discovering new markets opportunities.
