Regardless of your race, belief, sexual orientation, religion or any other trait, YOU are welcome in all open positions at the largest healthcare company in the world.When You Join Johnson & Johnson, Your Next Move Could Mean Our Next Breakthrough.Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Environmental, Health and Safety SR Manager to work in São José dos Campos.**Responsibilities**:- Oversees the development, planning and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures within the company.- Ensures compliance with local government regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety, and handles contract with appropriate agencies.- Coaches and advises the environmental, health and safety staff and management on ways to improve outcomes and programs in their areas.- Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.- Oversees the development of company training programs for employees in areas such as hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, electrical safety, and machine safety.- Coordinates various councils and teams to reduce exposure to environmental, health and safety issues. Manages these teams to implement necessary company wide changes.- Provides upper management with ongoing consultation pertaining to environmental, health and safety regulations identifying the impacts of changes to regulations on key business objectives.**Qualifications**- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.- Fluent English.- Demonstrated ability in developing metrics, trend analysis and reporting.- Demonstrated project management skills.- Demonstrated technical/working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.- Business & organizational skills with the ability to develop, maintain, generate project schedules, budgets and reports.- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis tools.- Experience in identifying, evaluating (risk assessments), and controlling EHS risks in the workplace.- Ability to quickly interpret complex regulatory issues and provide a recommended course of action.**Primary Location**Brazil-São Paulo-São José dos Campos-Rod.Presidente Dutra, Km 154**Organization**J&J Brazil (7680)**Job Function**Engineering**Requisition ID**W
