The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud. Browse our Operations team openings to see how you can make an impact with us.**About the Team**:- Shopee Operation team manages the entire operational process from the buyer's search for a product on Shopee platform to the moment when the buyer receives the product. The team analyzes and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operations performance fluctuates. The Operations team is comprised of Customer Service, Payments, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.- The role of Logistics Cost Control Manager is to ensure all the logistics costs are controlled to- meet Shopee’s guidelines and targets. This role requires to perform analysis, provide insights- based on cost performance, report on strategic cost drivers to continuously improve the- economics of Shopee’s logistics, manage the freight costs auditing and 3pl recoveries- processes.Success in this role requires you to build relationships across several Shopee teams, from- operations, finances, sourcing, planning, analytics and external relationships with 3pls. A- typical day in this role provides you an opportunity to maximize cost results, solving complex- cost related problems that affect company strategic decisions.**Requirements**:- Proficiency in Portuguese and English to work with local and overseas teams (English will be the main working language)- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field- Structured thinking/decision-making skills: take on complex challenges and simplify them- Data-informed and data-savvy: find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. Know how to use this data to make decisions without- Ability to coordinate with counterparts in the Asian market; Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment that requires autonomy and skills to deal with ambiguity- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with clear logical thinking
