Expert Ruby Integration Specialist We are seeking an experienced Ruby integration specialist to deliver a high-quality, scalable integration between Discourse and a community application. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Ruby and experience with integrating various systems. Create a robust integration between Discourse and the community application within a two-sprint timeframe Implement secure Single Sign-On (SSO) using Okta and OpenID Connect (OIDC) Maintain group and role mapping between community roles and Discourse groups Develop backend Ruby adapters for moderation, taxonomy, and role syncing, with feature flags for controlled rollout Design and implement shared header and navigation elements for a consistent user experience across platforms Set up and validate webhook pipelines from Discourse into Snowflake for analytics Collaborate with security and IT teams on Okta configuration, secrets, and access policies Work closely with data engineering to finalize webhook schemas, retries, and observability Provide technical support during sprint ceremonies, demos, and unblock teammates on integration or Ruby-related work As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are thoroughly tested, documented, and ready for production deployment.
