Finance Manager

- Responsible for all finance and accounting matters (review journal entries - A/P, A/R, FA, OPEX and P&L)
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly & quarterly Financial and Management report
- Review the preparation of financial schedules and financial statement analytics
- Ensure effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements
- Review financial statements and reconcile any discrepancies arising between the system and finance records, proactively seeking solution to identify and minimize the differences
- Monitor cashflow & capital requirements and help to prepare and review monthly payments
- Responsible for monthly forecast analysis and preparation of annual budget
- Collaborate with HQ Finance to ensure local practices are in accordance to Group's policies and local regulations
- Provide support on Brazil tax matters and minimize the tax liabilities of the company
- Daily interaction with Operation and Logistics Teams to ensure accuracy of revenue and costs
- Lead in process improvement projects on an on-going basis
- Responsible for the hiring and development of Shopee Express finance team
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
**Job Requirements**
- Min 10-16 years of working experience, preferably with audit experience in Big 4 or the Logistics sector. Experience in e-commerce companies will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with US GAAP
- Familiar with accounting for revenue under US GAAP
- Familiar with Brazil's accounting and e-commerce and/or logistics regulation
- Experience with process improvement
- Knowledge in ORACLE and Hyperion accounting software
