AbouttheRole We seek a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Node.js , SQL , and data engineering practices to help us build and optimize data pipelines and system integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, making technical decisions, and collaborating across teams to improve enterprise-level workflows and architecture. If you have a passion for backend systems and thrive in fast-moving environments, we’d love to connect with you. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services usingNode.js . Develop and optimizeETL pipelines and complexdata workflows . Integrate external data sources (e.g.,Salesforce, Jira, Notion, Google Workspace ) into our systems. Work with tools likeAirbyte and other ETL/integration platforms. Implement secure and scalableenterprise permission models (e.g.,ACL, RBAC ). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, Product, Engineering) to define requirements and deliver solutions. Contribute to backend architecture improvements, API design, and performance optimization. Must-Have: 5+ years of professional experience insoftware development , with a backend focus. Proficient inNode.js andSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Hands-on experience withdata integration ,data engineering , andETL tools . Strong understanding ofRESTful APIs andmicroservices architecture . Experience integrating with enterprise systems likeSalesforce, Jira, Notion , andGoogle APIs . Familiarity withACL ,RBAC , or other enterprise-level access control systems. Nice-to-Have: Experience withAirbyte or similar data integration platforms. Knowledge ofReact.js or experience in afull-stack environment. Understanding ofcloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) andCI/CD pipelines .
