Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of senior operations professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Develop and implement operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to drive business opportunities
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an Operations Manager or similar role within the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation systems, and warehouse operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Knowledge of freight rates, routing guides, and other relevant industry data
