**‍‍‍ The position and your team**
Team Brazil is a very friendly, fun, and tight team that is not afraid to show their dance moves at an office party. Facing a challenge? There is always someone to help you out As a Buyer, you will be part of the Supply Chain team under the guidance of Fabricio. We recently started with local sourcing in Brazil, so you will have the opportunity to really build the foundation together with Fabricio. We trust you will turn it into a success You are responsible for excellent buying conditions and processes for products offered in our loyalty programs. You make sure there is sufficient capacity available at the most optimal location. You manage the supplier relationships, develop new ones, and ensure that all products and suppliers comply with local and BrandLoyalty requirements.
Further, you will:
- Develop a 360 degrees sourcing strategy;
- Ensure supplier base aligns with portfolio and sales planning (capacity, competitiveness, flexibility, lead times, reliability, quality level, development capabilities, matching current and future needs.);
- Provide expert product advice and support if needed;
- Be responsible for price negotiations and benchmarking;
- Collaborate with 3rd parties to ensure product quality in compliance with the country
- and client-specific requirements;
- Take care of the conditions of purchase (buying contract) setup and maintenance.
**Do you recognize yourself in the following**
- Bachelor degree with 4+ years of experience in international trading or merchandising;
- Familiar with the overall business process of supply chains, such as manufacture and logistics;
- A tough negotiator and creative problem solver;
- You're a strong communicator with good English language skills, both verbal and written;
- Willingness to travel within Brazil. Max. 10%.
