Overview Regional Sales Manager, South America role at FLSmidth Cement. Manages sales activities in South America for Ventomatic’s range of products and systems to contribute to business results. Main Accountabilities Report to the Head of Sales, based in Italy Plans and executes sales activities in order to meet determined objectives within the geographical area Implements strategies within a determined price policy adjusted to the market situation to ensure that the determined goals and targets are met Develops and retains key customer contacts to build long-term profitable relationships Stays well informed about market trends in order to conduct assessments of long-term market needs Leads negotiations to leads to the best possible terms for Ventomatic Collaborates closely with Product Managers on technical questions in sales processes as a foundation for a product offering which meets the clients’ needs in a commercially relevant manner Builds long lasting relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities Collaborates with local network of colleagues and agents Knowledge, Skills, Experience Bachelor/Master of Science or equivalent knowledge Some years of experience International sales experience Preferably knowledge of the Ventomatic products (or equivalent) and technical solutions Basic awareness of site operations Commercial knowledge Functional Competencies Sales Foundations Sales Cycle/Sales Process Sales Motivation Behavioral Competencies Persuading and Influencing Applying Expertise and Technology Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking What we offer Health, dental, life insurance Meal voucher Friendly and open work environment As an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth Cement embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
