Mid Career Systems Engineer (ETOPS) Boeing – The role focuses on applying Systems Engineering concepts to ensure aircraft meet ETOPS regulations, enabling long‑range missions. Location São José dos Campos, Brazil (100% onsite) Position Responsibilities Systems engineering activities for aircraft systems across multiple programs. Perform requirement validation and verification. Design and conduct flight and ground tests, including test procedures and analysis. Review safety assessments. Contribute to continuous improvement of solution sets for development programs and their derivatives. Collaborate with Boeing engineers and certification specialists in propulsion, systems, avionics, etc., to obtain certification from the FAA, EASA, and other authorities. Basic Qualifications Legal right to work in Brazil. Degree in Engineering. Registered or eligible to register with the Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia (CREA).> Proficiency in spoken and written English. Preferred Qualifications Experience in systems development. Familiarity with ARP‑4754 and ARP‑4761. Regulatory/certification experience with FAA/EASA, including regulation compliance, certification planning, issue papers/CRI, and ETOPS. Experience applying Systems Engineering principles and systems integration in the aerospace industry. ETOPS certification or experience in airplane, propulsion, or electrical systems.
