Job Purpose
We are looking for a seasoned, charismatic business leader to build the Transitions brand business in Brazil. The Commercial Director will optimize go-to market strategy and its execution, develop strong teams, processes and systems to boost sales productivity and reach, build strong relationships with all key stakeholders starting with our key lenscaster partners and affiliated trade customers throughout value chain in order to grow profitably and aggressively our Transitions sales and develop our Transitions/photochromic category in Brazil. The Commercial Director will have ownership of every aspect of the commercials and P&L.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
Develops and executes short term and long term organizational plans that meet the company’s business development objectives
**Builds and leads a world-class sales team**: recruit and coach high-performing sales people to drive the Transitions brand with our lenscaster and trade partners and deliver measurable results
Working in close collaboration with our global and regional marketing teams, be the brand ambassador, PR and company spokesperson for the Brazil
Develops and executes comprehensive sales and customer/channel strategy that accelerates the total growth of the brand and business
Leads products roadmap planning, channel customer strategy, pricing positioning and management and go-to market activities for Brazil.
Drives and manages the performance metrics incl. sell in and sell out, product mix and margins, and meet/exceed set budgets on a consistent basis, manage P&L for Brazil.
Be the primary liaison for all sales, marketing and operational activities for Brazil and the bridge to Transitions Global organization.
Ensure optimum operating efficiency by consistently monitoring and identifying ways to improve systems and processes.
Key Requirements
Proven senior leadership and entrepreneurial experience. Minimum 10+ years.
Strong general management experience including P&L responsibility is a must.
Brand building experience is a must.
Passionate executive leader with proven track record as a change agent, transforming and developing teams by inspiring, motivating, and developing talent to drive positive results and business outcomes
Proven ability to work independently, liaise and manage relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Strong influencing skills
Proven experience with channel partner set up/management and key account management.
Deep understanding and experience of the retail space is highly desired.
Cultural understanding and deep experience on business development across all EMEA region is a must
Dynamic, resourceful, and self-disciplined, people-focused and team builder with a passion for success
Strong business sense and judgment, competent decision-making ability
