Overview

Senior iOS Mobile Developer ( PART-TIME - 4 hours per day )

Location: San Francisco, CA, US (Remote)

Job Type: Part-Time

Project context: International job opportunity; Project duration approximately 3+ months.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end development of iOS mobile features and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for cross-platform mobile applications where applicable, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to translate requirements into robust software solutions.
  • Follow agile development practices, participate in daily scrums, backlog grooming, and provide accurate effort estimates.
  • Write unit tests and UI automation tests; participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation; assist with incident response and troubleshooting when needed.
Qualifications
  • 4+ Years Swift
  • 5+ Years React Native
  • 3+ Years Relational Database
  • 1+ Years AI Development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code) - Nice to have
  • Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
  • Familiarity with memory management, concurrency, and multithreading in iOS
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Willingness to relocate to Portugal is not applicable for this refined scope; relocation mention removed to maintain focus on the San Francisco/remote U.S. location.
