In this position, you will be challenged on an individual level through one or more customer funded programs with the support of your peers and management.Location: Bethlehem, PAWe Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive CultureYour ChallengeReview, analyze, and provide feedback on customer contracts and design proposals Develop customer compliant ordering data to support part procurement Write ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to revise/create drawings, or to modify component ordering data based on customer requirements and supplier feedback Read and Interpret technical drawings, schematics, reports, and specifications Perform Engineering Analysis for non-conforming material and obtain customer approval Support EPD’s Manufacturing Floor: Assembly and Test Write Engineering Test Reports and Procedures for Customer Approval Design New Fixtures and Tools to support the in-house needs of Manufacturing Train and Support Technicians in Manufacturing Procedures to ensure customer specification compliance Other duties as time and initiative for career growth permit What You BringMust be a sole U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) with minimum 2 years experience Experience with Rotating Machinery or Complex Assemblies Preferred Material Processing Knowledge (Machining and Fabrication) Knowledge of Industry Standards (Military, ASTM, SAE, etc) Proficiency with a Solid Modeling Program (SolidWorks Preferred) FEA Experience a Plus Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Self-starter, motivated, and action-oriented individual able to excel in an environment with individual accountability Who We AreOur ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceCurtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division (EPD) and its predecessor companies have been providing naval and maritime technological expertise since 1847.
