Job Description

Work term: Permanent, Full-time
Location: São Paulo, SP, Brazil (Hybrid)

The Regional Strategy Lead is responsible for contributing in-market knowledge and insight to the development of strategies and brand building capabilities. This requires expertise in research methods, competitive landscape analysis, positioning, creative brief and concept development, and communication strategy and message development.

This role plays a critical part in driving new business growth and pitching narratives, providing strategic leadership and continuity to the team and client.

Collaborating closely with the Global Strategy lead, this role functions as Strategy lead for the team and clients as we grow and scale our strategic expertise in LATAM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid Experience in Strategy
  • University Degree, focus in Business, Science, Behavioral Science, or Anthropology
  • Broad range of therapeutic area expertise across both consumer and HCP audiences
  • Superior client presentation & facilitation skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation
  • Strong leadership ability with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to see the big picture and know how to influence it with the smallest details
  • Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven ability to help grow and establish an office and obtain new clients

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Learn and utilize Klick’s proprietary frameworks and strategic processes to deliver differentiated, value-added strategic work.
  • Partner with regional MD to provide leadership in business development efforts.
  • Develop Brand Beacon, Provocation, Brand Building Workshops, etc.
  • Adapt Klick’s brand building templates and frameworks to meet client needs.
  • Work in close partnership with Global Strategy lead to develop strategy work.
  • Form deep relationships and partnerships with Creative, Account Management, Medical Strategy, and Science & Regulatory teams.
  • Develop relationships with day-to-day clients.
  • Serve as a thought leader internally and externally on market dynamics and audience preferences.
  • Maintain close contact with North American based strategy leads and other global strategy leaders.
  • Ensure quality work and make time to coach and brainstorm with reports.
  • Help evaluate talent team-wide and determine promotion readiness.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing for the team.
  • Contribute to the development and management of scopes of work and staffing plans.
  • Manage workflow and anticipate/manage resource spikes related to brand building projects.
  • Connect strategy team to in-market freelance resources, research vendors, and recruiters.
  • Help adapt Klick’s culture to the local and in-office culture of the hub.
  • Use regional contacts to grow relationships with potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
