Field Application Specialist (Flow Cytometry) Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company dedicated to advancing life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology, seeks a Field Application Specialist to provide technical support, training, and product demonstrations for our Flow Cytometry hardware and consumables across Brazil and LATAM. In this role you will accelerate product adoption and ensure customer success by bridging scientific expertise with business goals. You will work closely with the Flow Application Manager LATAM and support sales targets while delivering pre‑ and post‑sales technical assistance. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality technical and scientific support to accounts in Brazil focusing on Life Science Flow Cytometry hardware and consumables; support sales and customers in both pre‑ and post‑sales contexts. Deliver pre‑sales support, including instrument and software demonstrations, workflow studies, proactive protocol development, and scientific meetings for flow cytometry application implementation. Provide customer satisfaction through application development and troubleshooting for Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry systems. Provide technical support via phone or email to internal Ops functions—diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems when first‑line product support cannot isolate or fix equipment or software issues. Support the Flow Cytometry instruments and reagents portfolio in Brazil and the broader LATAM market (up to 20% of time) for direct and indirect market partners. Essential Qualifications Significant hands‑on experience with Flow Cytometry. Background in Hematology and Clinical Flow Cytometry highly desirable. University degree in biomedicine, biological sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology or related field. Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with key opinion leaders. Fluent in English. Travel, Physical & Other Requirements Travel 50%‑80% of the time, including 10–20% outside Brazil. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Based in Brazil. Preferred Additional Experience Knowledge of immunology and experience in academic research; familiarity with extracellular vesicles and/or spectral cytometry. Practical experience with high‑dimensional Flow cytometry software (e.g., tSNE, CITRUS, FlowSOM, Parade). Previous technical or application support experience within a diagnostic or life science company. Spanish language skills beneficial.
