About Our Client Our client is pioneering accessible cryptocurrency for everyday Americans. As a leading crypto exchange and wallet provider in the U.S., we're making crypto available where people already are—from cash onramps at grocery stores to partnerships with leading financial institutions. We're building the bridge between traditional finance and the crypto economy. The Opportunity We're looking for a player-coach Head of Growth to architect and execute our B2C customer acquisition strategy. You'll own the full growth engine—from paid channels to viral loops—with a relentless focus on acquiring customers at the lowest possible cost while building a scalable, repeatable motion that drives Coinme's next phase of expansion. This isn't a "set strategy and delegate" role. You'll be in the trenches running campaigns, analyzing cohorts, and optimizing funnels while simultaneously building and leading a high-performing growth team. What You'll Do Own customer acquisition economics Drive aggressive customer acquisition targets while maintaining disciplined CAC payback periods Build and optimize the full funnel across paid, owned, and earned channels Establish rigorous experimentation frameworks to continuously improve unit economics Report directly on cohort performance, LTV, and channel efficiency Execute across all growth channels Paid: Own strategy and execution for Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms Organic: Build SEO and content strategies that educate and convert (à la Chime/Coinbase) Viral: Design and implement referral programs and growth loops that turn customers into evangelists Partnerships: Identify and activate strategic acquisition partnerships and distribution channels Influencer/Brand: Leverage culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with our demographic Build the growth machine Partner with product and engineering to instrument analytics and build growth features into the product Work with creative teams to develop high-converting assets across channels Establish data infrastructure for rapid testing and iteration Implement tools and processes that scale with the business Lead and develop a team Hire, mentor, and manage growth marketers, performance marketers, and growth analysts Foster a culture of experimentation, customer obsession, and scrappy execution Set clear OKRs and hold the team accountable to results What You Bring Required: 7+ years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or growth product roles at B2C fintech or crypto companies Proven track record of owning and hitting aggressive customer acquisition targets Deep expertise across multiple acquisition channels (paid social, SEM, SEO, referral, influencer) Hands-on experience optimizing campaigns and improving CAC/LTV ratios Strong analytical chops—you live in Excel/SQL and can make sense of complex data Player-coach mentality: equally comfortable running campaigns yourself and managing a team Experience building and scaling growth teams from 0-1 or early stage Bonus: Direct experience at top consumer fintechs (Chime, Cash App, Robinhood, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) Background in crypto and understanding of the space Expertise in growth product development and viral loops Track record of optimizing CAC in competitive consumer markets What Success Looks Like 30 days: You've audited our current channels, identified quick wins, and launched your first experiments 90 days: You've optimized our core channels, established a testing rhythm, and made your first hire 6 months: Customer acquisition is growing 3x with improving unit economics, and you've built a repeatable playbook 12 months: You've built a lean, high-performing team and established Coinme as a growth leader in accessible crypto Why This Opportunity?
