Company Description**Job Description**:Job Summary and Key Performance Indicators:Reporting to the Data Management Supervisor this position will be in charge of the following activities:- Depending on clients’ demand, demonstrate autonomy in delivering archiving projects within the required schedule and following the quality procedures. He/She can be asked to participate under a close supervision to a reformatting project.- Archiving work conversely consists to change final processed data, from internal G2 format to SEGY format, according to clients specifications (data library, external clients data storage) for archiving purposes.- Produce georeferenced acquisition maps using tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.- He/She can be asked to participate under a close supervision to digital transformation projects.Key Job Responsibilities:- Runs archiving job production (a suite of G2 commands which parameters have been tuned together with the Data Management Supervisor), analyses job’s output list to detect errors, makes necessary correction and resubmits production for the part with errors. Manages the production files and makes sure the data stored on disc is erased as soon as possible.- Participates under a close supervision to a reformatting and digitalization projects.- Reviews and inspects QCs in archiving processes.- Send to client: Final deliverables, Log sheets and Transmittal reports- Follows proper quality procedures and duly fills the QC sheets.**Qualifications**:Skills/Experience:- Typically requires BS/BA Computer Science or other related discipline.- Experience: Entry level professional contributor on a project.- Theory: DM Jr Specialist is acquiring fundamental concepts and theories.- CGG Software: Gains experience and confidence with various tools and standards by performing routine tasks and observing results/outcome.Key Competencies:- Judgement- Customer focus- Communication- Initiative- Teamwork- Innovation- Problem solverLanguages:- Intermediate English is desired.Additional Information**Reasons to join CGG**:**Life at CGG Rio**We love a good challenge.
