Homeward is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join the team responsible for the design, implementation, and success of our Salesforce ecosphere. This individual will own support issues on a day-to-day basis, develop runbooks, and contribute to new strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in ownership of their projects, can effectively diagnose issues, develop solutions quickly, and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.

• Join our Salesforce Systems Team and have an immediate impact on the company and the implementation of our Salesforce instance
• Work directly with our Product and Engineering Team, members of our Sales & Operations teams, as well as the organization as a whole, to improve the process of buying and selling homes
• Prioritize and manage incoming development requests from stakeholders, and effectively oversee the ticket queue to ensure timely resolution of Salesforce issues and enhancements
• Collaborate on projects ranging from 3rd party integrations to development of new business processes that promote efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation
• Focus on bridging the gap between development and end users
• Contribute to documentation, product scoping, and training
• Collaborate on strategies to manage Salesforce metadata & tabular data
• Work side-by-side with our existing Salesforce experts to own Salesforce implementation and architecture planning
• Work closely with our engineering team to build integrations & develop processes that scale our operations & sales efforts
• Wear both development and administration hats — as a growing organization, we’ll need an administrator who can fill both roles to ensure we plan data structures and configurations for scaling

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience , ideally in a start-up environment
• Strong ownership of delivering high-quality solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to manage an inbound stream of requests effectively
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally with stakeholders to communicate and deliver outcomes
• Experience developing within a highly customized Salesforce environment
• Ability to be flexible, wear many hats, pivot, and enjoy a dynamic environment
• Self-starter mentality with experience devising and testing hypotheses and implementing research plans; someone who can help the business identify the right questions to ask
• Credentials - Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II
• Experience with a variety of developer-focused solutions, including:
  • Apex Triggers
  • Queueable Classes
  • Schedulable Classes
  • Batch Classes
  • LWC, Aura, and Visualforce Components
  • Trigger Frameworks
• Experience with Salesforce developer tools such as:
  • Github
  • Gearset
  • VSCode
  • Nebula Logger
  • Salesforce CLI
  • Github Co-Pilot
• Experience with business operations tools such as:
  • Dialpad
  • Hubspot
  • Zapier
  • LeanData
  • Validity
  • And other Salesforce adjacent/integrated tools
• An open and collaborative mentality; Homeward is rapidly scaling and working with Salesforce will require analytical rigor, well-designed solutions, and strong collaboration
