
Senior Manager, Solution Consultant

The **Senior Manager of Solution Consulting** will provide comprehensive and technical strategy that maximizes needs to drive revenue for the entire Genesys suite of products through managing direct sales in the Enterprise team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Overall responsibility for managing and develop a team of solutions consultants including recruiting, hiring, and training new SC's on the Genesys technical and sales process.
- Working with the sub-regional sales leadership team to define and influence strategy.
- Work in partnership with the Account Team to drive revenue (GAP) for the region.
- Drive and champion adoption and execution of SMART methodology.
- Manage the education levels development and certification of team members.
- Prioritizing and managing team resources to meet increasing demands.
- Work in conjunction with Channel Management to drive partner enablement.
- Ensure team compliance with processes and procedures.
- Provide input to other cross-functional departments - such as Product Management, Professional Services and Marketing where necessary.
- Work closely with professional services to ensure a successful handover and deployment on direct and indirect engagements.
- Ability to solve complex problems while engaging multiple cross functional resources.
- Sells and promotes the sales of Genesys products.
- Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
- Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.
- Manages escalations in sub region.
- Develops Leadership platform for the sub region.
- Conducts weekly progress meetings with SC team.
- Conduct 1:1 calls with his team every week.
- Demonstrating the technical products for all Genesys solutions.
- Presenting the technical aspects of the Genesys Solution.
- CaaS/Premise/Hybrid and Hosted solution experience.
- Assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
- Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
- Ensure the teams are capable of delivering to the highest possible standards including the following areas:
- Gather information and requirements from customers and partners to position relevant solutions and define Architectures.
- Articulate corporate messaging and solutions through presentations, white-board, and open discussions with customers.
- Respond to Manage responses RFI/RFPs.
- Remain current with industry trends.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to architect the Solution Consulting team.
- Drive collaboration within the local and wider SC teams.
- Engage with product management to influence product direction.
- Coordinate internal SEO training.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing career growth opportunities, and recruiting for open positions.
- Provide managerial direction and motivating individuals to ensure team meets schedule commitments.
- Have a good understanding of the Genesys strategic direction and articulate that direction internally as well as to customers and partners.
**Qualifications / skills required / preferred**:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7-10+ years' experience in pre-sales role.
- 5+ years in management / and or team lead role.
- Experience in Contact Centers and/or CX preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage mid and senior level management.
- Good conflict resolution and team building skills.
- Previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset.
- Ability to manage professional employees through mentoring, coaching and skill development.
- Ability to establish clear objectives and direction for team.
- Must be a team player with strong Leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of the Genesys solutions highly preferred.
- Ability to hire and train new solutions consultant's.
- Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
