Innovative Data Collection Project

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to participate in an innovative project focused on collecting data for AI research.
As part of this project, you will be required to wear a head-mounted camera to capture your daily activities over 5 separate days within a 2-week window. This will involve recording a minimum of 7 hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy.
The captured footage will then need to be uploaded to a secure platform, reviewed, and clips chosen to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.
To ensure success in this role, we require that household members all be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded, and that all adults present in the space during the recording period must agree to appear in the footage.
In addition to these requirements, participants must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles and have access to a computer and internet connection. The GoPro camera and all accessories will be provided for the duration of the project.
This is a short-term engagement with minimal disruption to your routine, and you will play a vital role in shaping the future of human-centered AI research. Upon selection, Turing will ship all necessary equipment and provide onboarding instructions, as well as training on how to record, upload, and review your footage securely.
