Overview The Oncology Strategic Market Access Manager will shape and execute Pfizer’s access strategy for its oncology portfolio, developing strategic approaches to ensure patient access, reimbursement, and value recognition across key markets. The role supports both in-line and pipeline oncology assets, aligning access strategies with brand objectives and evolving payer landscapes. Responsibilities Develop and implement market access strategies for oncology products, including pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement. Lead cross-functional initiatives to support product launches and lifecycle management. Create and refine payer value propositions and access platforms. Translate economic and clinical data into clear messages for payers, regulatory authorities, healthcare providers, and budget holders to facilitate patient access to Pfizer innovations. Analyze market trends, payer policies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy. Collaborate with internal teams to generate evidence supporting product value and access. Engage with payers, providers, and other stakeholders to communicate product value and identify opportunities for win–win partnerships that positively influence product access. Work with Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Regulatory, and Global Access teams to ensure alignment of access strategies with broader commercial and clinical goals. Define KPIs and monitor the performance of access initiatives; provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) preferred. 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, pricing, or health economics. Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and payer dynamics. Comprehensive understanding of oncology payer perspectives and motivational drivers. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders. Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
