Available Positions- St. Nicholas Teacher Profile- Menu- Available Positions- St. Nicholas Teacher Profile**Secondary Spanish Teacher (Pinheiros)**:As part of the school’s commitment to a rounded IB education, all teachers are expected to contribute to the school’s service learning program and PSHE curriculum in a way that is relevant to their experience and interests. The school also offers a wide selection of extracurricular activities, where teachers may propose their own or take part in supporting an afterschool or lunchtime activity.**The applicants must have**:1- Strong teaching experience;2- Experience in teaching for the IB Diploma;3- TOK expertise will be an asset but not mandatory;4- Commitment to promoting inquiry, projects and student autonomy;**Additional desirable (but not crucial) qualities would be**:- DP experience- MYP Personal Project experience- MYP coordinator experience**Responsible to**:- Head of department- MYP/DP coordinators- Head of Secondary***:**General**:To maintain ethical and professional standards in attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct, meetings of deadlines and the general fulfillment of responsibilities.The Secondary School forms part of the wider St Nicholas community and all community members are expected to contribute positively to the whole community and take a full part in school life.St. Nicholas fosters an inclusive work environment as well as diverse, where our colleagues can be themselves. Every idea and perspective is valued so our growth continues to develop.Working hours for all teachers are: 07:45 to 16:15 (16:30 Wednesday for staff meetings and CPD).**We offer an attractive compensation package.
