Automation Expert – Sustaining A Global Support Role Sustain and improve the performance of our cutting-edge machinery across various locations worldwide. This is a hands-on, global support role that bridges technical teams and R&D engineers. You'll remotely monitor and troubleshoot automated machinery at hatcheries across different regions, ensuring uptime and continuous improvement of our systems. The Job Description: Monitor our systems via cloud dashboards, PLC access, and on-machine interfaces. Provide real-time technical support to technicians via Teams and other communication tools. Analyze performance data and participate in regular team meetings to share insights and best practices. Serve as part of the escalation process when issues impact customer operations, coordinating with internal engineering teams. Support ongoing refinement and optimization of control and electrical systems. Required Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot PLCs remotely and interpret electrical schematics. Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems, Ethernet networks, and industrial fieldbus protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, etc.). Familiarity with industrial control languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block) and HMI systems. Experience with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams. Benefits: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Fluent in English and at least one of: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Thai. 3–5+ years of experience in engineering support or industrial automation; equivalent hands-on experience considered. Ability to work flexible hours including second or third shift to align with international time zones.
