Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical assistance, network troubleshooting, and data center support. Provide on-site technical support, including network and hardware troubleshooting. Work with network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points (preferably Cisco, Riverbed). Configure switch ports for VLANs and patch phone ports as needed. Troubleshoot Avaya VoIP phones and perform basic configurations. Diagnose and coordinate resolution for fiber link issues and switch chassis replacements. Perform regular checks of IDF rooms for cooling, UPS alarms, and PDU health. Support data center and network administrators during technical troubleshooting. Monitor systems using tools like SolarWinds, Control-M, and EMC Avamar/Data Domain. Manage and maintain servers, storage devices, and perform performance monitoring. Utilize ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow) for incident and service management. Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. A background in IT or related field is required, with experience in networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
