This is a rare opportunity to join Cambridge University Press & Assessment as a Senior Finance Manager in Brazil, where your expertise will help shape the future of education and publishing in a region of significant growth and complexity.We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.**About the role**As a key member of the Brazil Board, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic finance support and challenge to the local leadership team. Your expertise will drive business change and enable data-driven decisions that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. By overseeing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Brazil—one of our largest and most strategically important markets—you will ensure robust financial control and support sustainable growth in a dynamic environment.In this role, you will manage credit, tax planning, and audit actions, while coordinating outsourced accounting (ECREL) to ensure full legal compliance and financial integrity. You will also lead the implementation of SAP B1, Concur, and ADP payroll systems, championing continuous improvement in finance systems and processes.Furthermore, you will coach and mentor a team of three direct reports, fostering their development and collaboration. You will work closely with UK finance teams, contributing to the Finance Shared Service Review (FSSR) project, and ensuring alignment with our global financial strategies.**About you**You're a qualified accountant with extensive experience in senior finance roles, ideally with international exposure.
