AtEX Squared LATAM , we're looking for aData MiningWeb Scraping Engineer to join us on a short-term contract and help power our data-driven solutions. This is aremote opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges with autonomy, speed, and precision.

NOTE: Please ensure that your *web scraping* experience is clearly detailed in your resume

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain robust scraping pipelines to extract data from public websites—including those with dynamic content and anti-bot protections.
  • Automate web navigation using *Selenium (must have) + undetected-chromedriver , simulating human behavior to avoid detection.
  • Parse and structure unstructured data for downstream processing and storage in relational databases.
  • Work inLinux-based environments , using bash scripts, cron jobs, logs, and environment configurations.
  • Integrate scraping pipelines withPostgreSQL using Python libraries likepsycopg2 .
  • Operate within anAnaconda-based Python stack , leveraging tools likeBeautifulSoup ,NumPy , and others.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in *Web Scraping (must have) , especially from websites with dynamic content and bot detection mechanisms.
  • Strong proficiency in *Python (must have) , with hands-on experience in the Anaconda ecosystem.
  • Comfort working and troubleshooting inLinux environments .
  • Ability to structure and persist large-scale datasets in relational databases (especially PostgreSQL).
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken) for effective collaboration with global teams.
  • Experience withproxy rotation and services like Bright Data (Luminati), Oxylabs, or ScraperAPI.
  • Hands-on knowledge ofanti-captcha techniques or third-party solving services.
  • Familiarity withElasticsearch for indexing and querying scraped data.
  • Experience withMicrosoft SQL Server in addition to PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure toworkflow orchestration tools such asTemporal.IO for managing scraping schedules, retries, and events.
