Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for delivering tasks to a high standard and supporting various projects of different sizes. They may work as part of a team or as the primary contact with the client. Responsibilities include setting project success criteria, managing project scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensuring project governance and processes are followed. Candidates with experience in the Mining sector, particularly in Civil-Structural and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Monitor and control projects using performance management techniques.
  • Manage change control and advise on project finances.
  • Coordinate meetings and manage project correspondence.
  • Interpret contracts, work letters, charters, surveys, budgets, schedules, and drawings.
  • Maintain project reports, process purchase orders, and track financials.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in mining final projects.
  • Full project ownership and report development skills.
  • Effective information management between team and client.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English.
