The indirect Procurement Specialist plan and execute the sourcing strategies for Supply Services indirect spend categories, specifically MRO, OEM & Operating Supplies, in order to maximize benefits in terms of quality, cost and service levels.
The Indirect Procurement Specialist applies strategic sourcing methodology to meet the business and internal stakeholders' requirements by maximizing value, generating important cost reduction contributions and cost avoidance returns.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Ensure category strategy implementation.
- Analyze and implement strong simplification initiatives for the spend managed, managing and reducing complexity
- Ensure procurement E2E process: Sourcing, buying, contracts, invoicing.
- Activate Dynamic Supplier Network to address foundational and Reimagined footprint:
- Reinforce foundational supply assurance by reviewing business continuity plans with key suppliers.
- Create and action KPIs to ensure service excellence from suppliers.
- Supplier segmentation.
- Create division footprint alternatives and implement changes; pursue strategic supplier development and relationships, including outsourcing strategies.
- Strengthen relationships and integrate early to expedite decisions:
- Create partnerships for long term sustainable sourcing. Define priority materials and suppliers.
- Enhance internal stakeholder engagement across all functional areas and divisions.
- Increase delivered value via key Supplier Relationship Management programs.
- Deliver cost and expense goals:
- Value added negotiations.
- Deliver Cost Savings Initiatives
- Active involvement in budget process and visibility of cost reduction initiatives in the financials
- Quarterly spend analysis.
- Maximize the benefits from Ariba (SAP) system utilization.
- Increase empowerment and expertise to meet agility demands.
- Leverage personal leadership.
- Agile Networks participation with sustainable results.
- Ensure knowledge sharing among regions and countries.
- Link all goals to growth to ensure we are supporting top line movement.
- Active participation in business reviews.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Business
- Intermediate experience within Supply Chain areas
- Fluent English
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Microsoft Office, Google Collaboration Tools
- SAP and Ariba experience is an advantage (Other sourcing tools as well)
- Intermediate Spanish Level
- Experience in Consumer Goods Industries
