Job DescriptionThe Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in coordinating import activities, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You will collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and objectives. You will also identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, build relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses. You will also implement strategies to streamline import processes and reduce costs.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Relations, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in import operations in procurement or a related role
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
