Danfoss is looking for an experienced Account Manager responsible for driving businesses overall success with Key Accounts customers. It's also responsible for achieving optimum national sales consistent with budgeted profit and selling expenses; develops sales plans and budgets for achieving growth goals in conjunction with peers in sales positions; supports and participates on Strategic Account Management on a global basis related to Key Customers.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Drives businesses overall success with customers on a national basis to increase the Danfoss's relationship by promoting the proper value product solution to meet customer needs and position Company as a prime supplier.
- Expects to develop relationships at all levels of the organization including engineering, sales, manufacturing, financing and top management. It is also expected to represent the Company in technical / commercial and trade fair events and conventions.
- Pursue and capture qualified local customer´s opportunities in order to assure profitable and sustainable business managed through the CRM.
- Be the main "communication channel" between Danfoss and customer, facilitating the negotiation at all customers' organizational levels and departments.
- Monitor the customer's business evolution in terms of product and services chains, news, market share, satisfaction with our products and services, activities of competitors with the client, assessing all the opportunities for business, examining its technical feasibility commercial and along with other departments.
- Support the negotiation of customers' requirements and needs.
- Lead contracts, purchase orders, general terms and conditions, any other customer document critical analysis in order to assure negotiated conditions.
- Formalize current products phase-out or replacements in order to improve market technologies level and added value proposition products.
- Negotiate technical changes and their implementation, standardization of products/components and cost reduction, improving profitability.
**Background & Skills**:
- Bachelor Degree preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
- Fluent English with very good writing skills
- Experience in industries, preferably in automotive industry, in areas such as Engineer, SCM, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing or other areas related to business.
- This individual must demonstrate interest in the industry, products (components and assemblies), technology, opportunities, problems solving, business drivers and competition
- Leadership style to drive and implement changes
