Senior Data Engineer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and managing complex data systems. They will be well-versed in various data technologies, including Snowflake, AWS, and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data pipelines using Snowflake and other related tools.
  • Lift and shift existing data marts, build new data marts, and further integrate them into our data ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement data reporting environments that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and managing large-scale data systems.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Strong knowledge of Python scripting and its application in data engineering.
  • Well-versed in data marts and their importance in data-driven decision making.
  • Strong understanding of SQL concepts, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably on the provider side.
  • Knowledge of Red Shift database and its applications.
  • Familiarity with Tableau and its use cases.
  • Experience working in an AWS environment and its associated tools.
  • Understanding of big data tools, including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
