OCC 5G Solutions Architect_** is a person who collaborates with the CGBU Delivery Team and Customer to ensure that Oracle CGBU Technical Solution addresses customer needs. This person will be in charge of supporting and implementing the solution design prepared by the OCC Architects, that are presented to Oracle's clients in Latin America related to 3G/4G Packet Core network platforms (such as STP, DSR, SCP and PCRF) and 5G Core (SCP, BSF, PCF, NRF, NEF, SEPP, NSSF, NWDAF and others).**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- **Perform all aspects of network engineering including network design, performance monitoring, integration, upgrade and troubleshooting of 3G/4G Packet Core elements such as STP, DSR, SCP and PCRF.**:
- **Perform all aspects of network engineering including network design, performance monitoring, integration, upgrade and troubleshooting of 5G Core (SCP, BSF, PCF, NRF, NEF, SEPP, NSSF, NWDAF and others).**:
- **Solution design implementation of 3G/4G Packet Core elements such as STP, DSR, SCP and PCRF.**:
- **Solution design implementation of 5G Core (SCP, BSF, PCF, NRF, NEF, SEPP, NSSF, NWDAF and others).**:
- **Support and review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals.**:
- **Estimate the Implementation Level of Effort.**:
- **Prepare the Scope of Work Document for the Project.**:
- **Prepare de Cost Budget for the Project.**:
- **Present to the Customers the Consulting Services Portfolio.**:
- **Support the Delivery and Sales Team in Technical Meetings with the Customers.**:
- **Prepare and Manage Technical presentations to the Customer to discuss solution architecture, call flows, definitions, and hands on service demonstration.**
**Qualifications**
- **Strong Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G networks architecture.**:
- **Strong Knowledge about Telco Signaling Protocols (like Diameter, SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, HTTP/2)**:
- **Strong Knowledge of NFV and Cloud environments.**:
- **He or She must have knowledge about containers, microservices, CI/CD, containers orchestration tools like Kubernetes.**:
- **Knowledge about Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud deployment technologies.**:
- **Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN, routing, protocol)**:
- **Understand standardization bodies (IETF, 3GPP, TISPAN, GSMA, etc.).**:
- **Understanding of IMS/VoLTE architectures.**:
- **Desirable Knowledge of IP telephony protocols (SIP, Diameter, ENUM, RTP, etc.).**

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
