**Our Organisation**
Since 1925, ESSSuper and the funds before it have served the Victorian State Government, its employer agencies and their employees.
We administer the State's statutory defined benefit superannuation funds and obligations. Additionally, we administer accumulation-style products such as the ESSSuper Accumulation Plan and account-based Income Streams.
Our mission is to grow and protect our members' superannuation and support them throughout their lives.
With around 124,500 members holding over $37 billion in defined benefit and accumulation net assets (as at 30 June 2024), we're well-positioned to continue serving our members for years to come.
**About the position**
We have undergone an ambitious technology transformation and are now well poised to deliver the best customer experience possible. Leveraging technology and member insights, together with a sense of purpose from the brand and sharp focus from the team, you will deliver exceptional 1:1 marketing communications that help members maximise their retirement outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel campaigns designed to engage, retain and drive member loyalty. You will need to be able to develop and/or interrogate a detailed campaign brief and work with both external agency partners and internal teams to take it to market.
Familiarity with Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) would be an advantage, though technical skills in these platforms are not what this role is about. You will be supported by another marketing manager and a digital specialist in-house to undertake Marketo builds and data management.
In addition to the core responsibility of campaign development and delivery, there are also several opportunities to work on exciting new initiatives including a brand refresh and the support of our new website launch.
**_Please note this role is being offered on a 12-month fixed term basis._**
**What we're looking for**
This role will suit a delivery focussed marketer, with a proven track record of developing and delivering high quality 1:1 marketing campaigns who has the following qualifications and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marketing or communications
- Ideally +5 years working in services marketing (client or agency side) with a focus on lifecycle marketing/ 1:1 campaigns and marketing communications
- Strong across brand, channel mix, targeting, messaging, creative and optimisation
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience, including working with internal specialists and external suppliers across a wide range of channels, assets, and formats
- Experience working in complex consumer services organisations and/or regulated environments, such as financial services, energy, health service or telecommunications
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and oral communicator with flexible, collaborative attitude and mind-set
