Amazon Catalog Analyst
Schedule : 6 AM – 2 PM EST (Remote) - Full-time
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly technical and hands-on Amazon Catalog Analyst to manage day-to-day operations within Amazon Seller Central. This is not a strategic or leadership role—it's a fully operational position where you'll be deep in the backend and frontend of Amazon listings, ensuring catalog health, optimizing performance, and supporting sales growth in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You'll be responsible for end-to-end listing management, catalog oversight, and data analysis, using tools like Keepa, Sellerboard, and DataRova. The ideal candidate has worked in a company that sells exclusively on Amazon, or where Amazon was the main sales channel.
Key Responsibilities- Amazon Listings Management: Create, edit, and maintain listings with full backend and frontend control.
- Backend: browse nodes, categories, product types, search terms, Buy Box optimization, listing suppression fixes.
- Frontend: titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ Content, and images.
- Monitor listing quality, keyword indexing, suppressed / stranded ASINs, and apply improvements regularly (at least every 30 days).
- Collaborate with inventory teams to avoid stockouts / overstocks, manage restock limits, and reconcile discrepancies in Amazon's inventory reports.
- Use Keepa, Sellerboard, and DataRova to track performance, pricing, sales trends, and profitability.
- Monitor competing listings and adjust positioning (title, keywords, images, pricing) accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver weekly / monthly performance reports with actionable insights and follow-ups.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central.
- Proven track record with listing creation and optimization, both backend and frontend.
- Experience managing large catalogs (500+ SKUs).
- Familiarity with Amazon Terms of Service, policies, and listing compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Keepa, Sellerboard, and DataRova.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience in companies where Amazon is the exclusive or primary sales channel.
- Basic HTML / CSS for listing customizations.
- Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Walmart, etc.).
- Experience with Amazon PPC (not mandatory but a plus).
