OverviewSenior Equipment Engineer (Engenheiro de Equipamentos SR) – Retic, Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Bringing cutting-edge physical and digital technologies together to create oilfield equipment. Devising smarter systems that control and monitor oil and gas extraction, our subsea and flexible pipe capabilities are industry leading. Our team provides support for customer operations to ensure continuity for production. ResponsibilitiesLead Finite Element Analysis (FNA) for flexible pipeline equipment and components. Participate in applied R&D projects and equipment design improvements. Develop, check and approve the design and layout of all components and systems like end fittings/ancillaries that compose the flexible pipe systems. Perform assigned technical tasks, including structural analysis, calculations, design, verification, and study activities. Collaborate with other Project Specialists and Designers. Coordinate and review technical activities performed internally and externally to ensure compliance with technical requirements and deadlines. Create and propose process improvements, provide technical assistance and guide the team. Demonstrate understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures; resolve problems through applied expertise guided by precedent. Communicate with the team and supervisor; present metrics and project status to internal teams. RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Naval Engineering Active CREA registration Advanced English level Experience in Engineering/Technology Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MathCAD and Excel (nice to have) Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability Mandatory: Strong experience with ANSYS (preferable) or Abaqus Work Style and LocationLocation: Retic, Rio de Janeiro/RJ.
