Duties and Responsibilities Prepare designs for agri‑bulk material and mining bulk in port terminals or industrial plants. Develop designs for waterfront facilities such as marinas, container terminals, marine oil terminals, pump stations and utility systems (firefighting, water, sewer, stormwater). Perform hydraulic modelling and analysis of liquid bulk transmission systems and utility systems. Prepare design documents (plans and specifications) with an emphasis on utility service design. Design piping for projects such as liquid bulk terminals and utilities using Plant 3D or similar software. Generate proposals and develop fee estimates for PS&E packages. Assist with condition‑assessment inspections for terminal equipment and utilities infrastructure. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Desirable). 2‑6 years of experience in mechanical design related to bulk material handling. Experience in 3D piping design required. Plant 3D or equivalent (PDMS, PDS, etc.) experience required. Design experience in industrial complex and/or marine terminals is a plus. General understanding of process design, process flow diagram development, and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development. Experience in developing equipment specifications, calculations, data sheets, drawing reviews and other documents related to mechanical design. Some planning and task‑management skills. Complete piping and pipeline stress analysis using CAESAR is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is an advantage.
