Are you our next leader in software product development looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a Manager, Software Product Development to lead and mentor a local team of software developers, DevOps and QA professionals. This role requires a strategic and technically strong leader who can drive engineering excellence, ensure alignment across teams, and scale software development operations to meet business goals.
Location: Tech Center, Ilha do Fundão, RJ
In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager Software Development and collaborate closely with a globally diverse team of Software Engineering Managers responsible for development, QA, and DevOps.
Ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions, leveraging your experience in overall software development and quality for embedded software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- **Lead and develop** a team of Software developers, DevOps and QAs working actively on exciting projects.
- **Nurture chapters**of QA, DevOps and Software Development.
- **Oversee sprint planning**, daily standups, retrospectives, and progress tracking.
- **Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability** of all software products.
- **Support implementation and optimization** of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and quality.
- **Drive continuous improvement,** staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- **Recruit, onboard, and develop** top engineering talent.
- **Support team resource allocation and competency**, ensuring teams are set up for success.
- **Mentor and develop technical talents**, building a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and technical excellence.
- Qualifications
- BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English
- **Software development, DevOps or software QA engineering experience**.
- **Experience** leading Software Engineers.
- **Strong background** in software development, architecture, embedded systems, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
- **Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies** and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
- **Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills**.
