Product Performance Specialist

**Objective of the Role**:As the Product Performance Specialist, the professional will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence in addressing customer complaints and technical queries, with a specialization in face stock, release liners, and flexible paper packaging. The primary focus will be to ensure that products meet market and customer requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.**Key Responsibilities**:- Customer Service and Complaint Resolution- Receive, record, and analyze customer complaints, conducting technical investigations to identify root causes.- Develop corrective and preventive action plans to address issues and prevent recurrences.- Lead industry action plans arising from customer complaints, aligned with the guidelines of R&D, Sales, Marketing, and TCS.- Monitor indicators of compensation and the number of technical customer complaints.- Decide on the validity of the complaint and approve the required reimbursement in collaboration with industry, R&D, TCS, and Sales.- Define quality and supply agreements for our customers.- Create product performance indicators per customer and release improvement plans per customer.- Measure and manage the avoided cost process with reimbursement throughout the year.- Control the quality of the external product processing at Ahlstrom.- Validate products in Ahlstrom's internal and external stocks, as well as at customer locations as requested.- Promote a positive agenda of updates with key customers.- Participate in the development of processes and products to ensure optimal performance of our products with each customer.- Conduct internal team training regarding the needs of our product.**Experience and Education**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical papers in the specialty paper industry, with a focus on Couché papers.- Exceptional communication skills for both internal and external interactions.- Ability to analyze the market, identify trends, and adapt corresponding technical strategies.- Strong relationship management skills with customers.Ahlstrom is a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials.
