**About the role**
As a **Junior Application Support Analyst,** you will make an impact by providing support on technical issues. You will be a valued member of the Support team and work collaboratively with Multi-cultural teams.
**In this role, you will**:
- Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to resolve more complex issues.
- Assist in the deployment of software updates patches and configurations.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior support or development teams as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with end-users providing clear and concise information regarding issues and resolutions.
**Work model**:Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in Cognizant office in São Paulo, SP. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

**What you need to have to be considered**
- Intermediate proficiency in English both written and verbal.
- Intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as Java Python or SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic understanding of ITIL principles.
- Background with ticketing systems like JIRA ServiceNow or similar.
- Student or graduated bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in technical support or helpdesk role is a plus.
