Overview

Frontend Mentor (part-time) role at Mate academy. Mate academy is an EdTech startup with a gamified, AI-powered LMS platform where people learn IT specialties. The company has launched in Poland and Brazil, with over 5000 graduates placed in IT roles after four months of training. The role focuses on mentoring students in Portuguese as part of expanding operations to Brazil.

Responsibilities
  • Check homework assignments for full-time course students.
  • Answer student questions in chat and on Zoom calls.
  • Conduct mock technical interviews for students.
  • Improve the student learning process.
Qualifications
  • 1 year of commercial experience as a Frontend Developer.
  • English B1 or higher.
  • Ability to communicate with people and help them solve problems.
  • Effective time planning and the ability to organize your own schedule independently.
Recruitment process
  • Send your CV.
  • Attend a 15-minute call with coordinators to align expectations (in Portuguese).
  • Complete the test task.
  • Attend a tech interview (in English).
