Banking and Payment Partnership Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee banking and payment partnerships in Latin America. This role involves managing day-to-day partner relationships, supporting new card channel initiatives, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Banking Relationships: Expand banking relationships across Latin America to drive regional growth.
- Onboard New Partnerships: Identify, onboard, and maintain new card channels and payment partnerships in the Latin American market.
- Coordinate Operations: Work with regional banks, card partners, and internal teams to ensure operational and compliance requirements are met.
- Research Regulations: Analyze jurisdictional regulations and licensing requirements across Latin America to support new market entry strategies.
- Track Partner Performance: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to track partner performance and identify opportunities.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support in executing agreements, resolving issues, and monitoring ongoing partnerships.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, with proven exposure to the Latin American payments landscape.
- Familiarity with local market players and established relationships with card organizations, insurers, and third-party payment providers in Latin America.
- A good understanding of payment systems and card networks; prior exposure to regulatory or compliance matters is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is required; English proficiency is also a must.
- Interest or prior experience in crypto/digital assets is a plus.
