Overview

As a Test Automation Engineer you will make an impact by developing testing strategies and creating efficient scripts, both manual and automated. You will be a valued member of the QEA team and work collaboratively with our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop testing strategies and create efficient manual and automated scripts
  • Perform exploratory tests and manage bugs effectively
  • Identify scenarios that can be automated
  • Report test progress properly to the squad
  • Apply knowledge of different testing approaches such as functional, integration, unit, and regression testing
Work model

Work model: hybrid. We believe hybrid work is the way forward to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo - SP. Regardless of your working arrangement, we support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Advanced knowledge in Robot Framework
  • Advanced knowledge in BDD and web testing
  • Advanced knowledge in API testing
  • Knowledge in Playwright is a plus
  • Knowledge in the usage of GitHub Copilot to speed up test automation development is a plus
  • ISTQB CTFL certification is a plus
  • Advanced English
  • Agile Methodologies
Nice to have / Stand out
  • Openness to understand what has been required by the PO
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with coworkers
  • Clear communication with developers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems in a creative and efficient way
