Job Overview Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies, primarily utilizing Python as the main programming language. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement efficient cloud and container technologies. Develop and deliver high-quality solutions and code. Create unit tests to improve the software development lifecycle. Analyze and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration. Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process. Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development. Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used for deploying private cloud platforms, aimed at being at the core of 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide. Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Solid backend development experience with a strong proficiency in Python and Linux essentials. Moderate knowledge of hardware concepts, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components. Proficiency in working on the command line and managing files. Ability to create and restore compressed backups and archives. Understanding of system security, including users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories. Basic knowledge of creating and running simple scripts. Interest in developing and troubleshooting highly distributed orchestration platforms supporting multiple vendors. Strong computer networking knowledge, including transport layers (TCP/UDP/etc.). Knowledge of cloud computing concepts. Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with Senior Technical Leaders. Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools. Experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Linux Containers. Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration, including designing infrastructure involving one or more Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters. Experience with Helm.
