Overview

ITTConnect is seeking Business Intelligence (BI) Engineers experienced in Tableau or Sigma and SQL to fill a position with a US-based client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and consulting services present in nearly 50 countries.


As a BI Engineer, you will work as part of a team in a challenging, innovative environment for our client. Investigate, create, and implement solutions for technical challenges, including building or enhancing their data processing platform.

Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil



Requirements
  • 7+ years of IT experience
  • University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
  • 3+ years experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, or a similar role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau)
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Scala
  • Experience building reporting and dashboarding solutions using data lake/Snowflake or similar ecosystem
  • Expert in database fundamentals, SQL and performance tuning
  • Experience maintaining data integrity and reliability by leveraging data quality frameworks and orchestration tools for seamless pipeline execution
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams; comfortable in a fast-paced environment; self-starter and self-organizing
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information


Nice to have
  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
  • Experience with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift)
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their data requirements
